Marie Aloo, a former sponsored pupil
Many past pupils, having benefited from the life –changing opportunities afforded by EducAid Africa, are now contributing positively to the future of their families and community. With jobs such as teachers, nurses, engineers and IT specialists they are making a contribution to the development of their country which would not otherwise be possible.
Dennis Wali, a former sponsored pupil contacted us years later and wrote: “What I value most is the cascading and trickle-down effect that the support you have given me has generated. I have for instance been able to support other people around me to realise their lifetime dreams such as my young sister…as she pursued a course in nursing which she completed successfully and is now employed. I have been able to upgrade my parents’ house to a modern structure with water and electricity. This testimony clearly shows the power that your support has in transforming the lives of people.”
Trustees aim to visit the projects every 2 to 3 years, at their own expense, to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the charity’s work. You can read about our last visit here.
